Step into the world of Marion Mahony and Walter Burley Griffin and discover their vision for a capital city filled with colourful native flowers and beautiful gardens.

Through fascinating records from the national archival collection, children will explore how their ideas helped shape Canberra.

Then it's time to get creative, with children designing and building their own vibrant flower sculpture to take home.

Developed for Floriade About Town, this hands-on program is suitable for children aged 7 to 12 and offers a fun way to explore Canberra's heritage through flowers, creativity and design.
