April 21, 1954.

Robert G. Menzies;

Dear Sir:-

Having served with Australian troops in World War I no one has to tell me of the nerve, Fortitude [sic], and love of freedom and independence of your people.

You and your people are to be commended anew for the gallant rescue of that poor woman in distress, Mrs. Petrov. Some one some day had to stand up to the Soviet and our group is very happy to congratulate you. The feeling against the inhuman Soviet leaders is rising, our people have been shamefully apathetic, but at last are wakening.

I believe we all know that Russia will take us all over as soon as she can, we must stand together, or go down together.

There can be no weakening of our new spirit against the cancer of Communism, now is the time to draw the line, dig out all spies, traitors etc. let [sic] the representatives of all countries stand up and be counted as to where they stand and no straddling.

Many Patriotic and civil groups here are now joining the various Veterans organizations in combating Communism, here, it is needed believe me, we are now working on a program to debunk the propaganda lies of the Soviet, they cant [sic] stand the truth and we know it.

I have been elected by a merged group of patriots to lobby in Washington this summer, rest assured I wont [sic] rest until the job of eliminating the Soviet conspiracy is done.

All of our congressmen and Senators will bechecked [sic] and any showing any tolerance of the Soviet will be removed from office (legally most likely).

Again let us as free people, thank you for not being afraid to offend the phony Kremlin, your action will bring plaudidts [sic] from the whole world (except those who dare not) so in closing I'll promise to see the same done here.

SINCERELY
