The banning of the red flag in 1918 led to serious riots in Brisbane and other Queensland towns. This exhibition highlights these events through the intelligence and investigation records held in the Queensland Office of the National Archives. Themes of civil unrest, censorship, Bolshevism and disloyalists will be explored in this fascinating insight into a little-known aspect of Queensland's history.
