COVID-19: Important information about our services

All National Archives buildings, including our research centres and galleries, are closed to the public in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

We are monitoring the situation carefully and reviewing our services in line with government advice, including the directive for Australian Public Service staff to work from home where possible.

These measures protect the health and safety of our visitors, clients and staff. However, they also affect our ability to continue business as usual.

Below are some frequently asked questions about the status of our services and how you can continue to access your National Archives.
