Anne Henderson is an Australian writer and occasional contributor for The Canberra Times, The Age, The Australian and The Sydney Morning Herald. She is Editor of The Sydney Papers and Co-editor of The Sydney Institute Quarterly. Ms Henderson is the Chair of the Board of the State Records of NSW and was made a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to literature in the field of political history, and to the community by fostering public debate and discussion.
When asked to become a member of the National Archives of Australia Advisory Council I thought it was an excellent idea to combine my service to the state of NSW and also the Commonwealth given my chairmanship of the Board of the State Records of NSW. Both archival organisations undertake invaluable work in keeping safe the records of Australia for Australians.
