Phil Robertson was most recently Chief Operating Officer at NICTA (National ICT Australia) and has over 30 years of experience in technology research, development and commercialisation in private and public sectors in Australia and internationally.
Phil is a member of the Australian Computer Society Telecommunications Board and was a founding member of the Canberra Innovation Network Board. He has been a member of many research, university, government and industry advisory boards over the years, including the Australian Government’s IT Industry Innovation Council from 2010-2013 and its ICT Advisory Board from 2004-2006, and CSIRO’s Digital Productivity Flagship and ICT Centre Advisory Councils from 2002-2015.
Phil has published widely in imaging and visualisation, served on the editorial boards of leading international journals and conferences, and is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE).
