In the colony of New South Wales, there were two factories in Parramatta, two in Moreton Bay, and one each in Newcastle, Bathurst and Port Macquarie. In the Colony of Van Diemen’s land, factories existed in Hobart Town, Cascade, Launceston, Ross and Georgetown.
