Letter – A Belgian community reaches out to bereaved Australians, 1946


This is a translation of a letter sent to the Air Ministry in London and forwarded to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). The writer, Monsieur Gueuning of Braine-Le-Comte in Belgium, recounts attempts made by his community to honour the dead airmen, and expresses a wish to contact their families.
