The organisations and individuals listed below have indicated to the National Archives their willingness to undertake research in overseas institutions on behalf of Australian researchers. Also listed are the types of institutions in which the agents are able to pursue research, and their areas of specialisation, where provided.

Arrangements concerning conditions and fees should be made privately between inquirers and research agents. The Archives makes no recommendation as to the competence of the agents, and their inclusion in this list does not indicate any form of accreditation by the Archives. The Archives accepts no responsibility for work performed by research agents.
